Salvatore Luciano Furnari joins BABEL as Associate Member

BABEL welcomes Salvatore Luciano Furnari as a new Associate Member of the Research Unit, appointed under Article 3(4) of the Internal Regulation. A lawyer and chartered accountant, he heads the Web3 Department of Lener & Partners in Rome and holds a PhD from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" with a thesis on the regulation of decentralised finance. He is a Fellow of the European Decentralization Institute and collaborates with the chairs of Financial Market Law and European Business Law at LUISS Guido Carli University and of Commercial Law at Tor Vergata. His expertise in crypto-asset law, MiCAR, DeFi and DAOs strengthens BABEL's research on the legal framework of the tokenised economy.
